The foundation aims to support Christian children and young people from needy families in Egypt. The focus is on promoting their school and vocational education with the goal that they will one day earn enough income through their profession to escape the poverty cycle. The promotion includes, for example; payment of school fees, including charges, school books, tutoring, etc.; support for the parents so that they can enable the children to attend school and not work (income replacement); start-up financing for taking up a professional activity; medical treatments, examinations and interventions; construction measures in their apartments and houses, mainly to improve their hygienic, health and practical living conditions; support for organizations that support these children and young people, for institutions where they go to school or live or spend their leisure time, etc. With the same objective and to the same extent, the foundation can pursue similar or other purposes, for example (visually) impaired children and young people or adults with their children. Grants and support services are provided exclusively to needy natural persons or non-profit, tax-exempt legal entities or organizations. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes: it is exclusively active for the common good in the interest of third parties. The foundation can cooperate with and/or support other organizations in the country and abroad. It can establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them if the purpose permits. Mergers are only possible with tax-exempt institutions.
