Construction and operation of solar energy systems, e.g., photovoltaic systems for feeding into the public electricity grid, solar power plants for grid-connected power supply, solar water heating systems, and similar systems with the main energy source being the sun. Education, consultation, exchange of knowledge, and proper information on all energy-saving possibilities as well as on the use of solar energy in cooperation with all interested parties and authorities.
