The company may provide central services to its investment companies (in particular strategy, management, administration, finance/treasury, IT, legal/compliance, and marketing services); grant loans to its group companies as well as provide guarantees and security; acquire, hold, manage, and exploit intellectual property rights and licenses; acquire, hold, encumber, and dispose of real estate and properties abroad, to the extent not restricted by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG, «Lex Koller»); establish branches and subsidiaries domestically and abroad; and carry out all commercial, financial, and other activities that are related to the company's purpose or suitable to promote it.
