The foundation is a non-partisan organization created to pursue charitable goals and initiatives. It serves to coordinate financial and material contributions to improve the living conditions of poor, underprivileged or otherwise disadvantaged individuals and communities. It serves to support people in need, regardless of their ethnic origin, skin color, religion, nationality or social status. It serves to direct grants and scholarships to promote the education and career prospects of children and young people. It serves to cooperate with and support local institutions, organizations and communities that improve physical and mental conditions in their areas of influence, and to support the redefinition of the long-term goals of these partner institutions. The foundation may also engage in activities that are suitable for promoting the purpose of the foundation directly or indirectly. The foundation may not be operated for profit and is a tax-exempt legal entity pursuant to Art. 56 g. DBG.
