The foundation aims to preserve and maintain, and if possible, expand a historical firearms collection, which showcases the most important steps in the historical and technical development of firearms in Europe from 1200 to 1900. The collection is to be made accessible to the public in the form of a permanent exhibition in suitable premises. The foundation may also engage in or support other activities that serve to bring the history of firearms closer to the public, such as guided tours of the collection, lectures, firearms demonstrations, etc. The foundation is non-profit, it does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profits.
