Stiftung für appenzellische Volkskunde

The foundation aims to manage and supplement the collection of folk art and folk culture of Appenzell in its possession or entrusted to it through further acquisitions or exchanges. It strives to make its collection accessible to the public, either on its own or in collaboration with third parties. It can lend its collection to reliable museum and exhibition operators, with or without assuming the associated costs, for exhibition purposes. Furthermore, the foundation can undertake any activities that serve to secure, preserve, research, present and promote the folk cultural heritage of the Appenzell region.
