The core activity of the company 'Gemeinsame Einrichtung KVG' is to bundle tasks for the benefit and well-being of the Swiss residential population, the national economy and the healthcare system, and to implement them from an economic perspective, in particular by creating bridges between policyholders and insurers, patients and doctors, as well as between individual insurance companies and between Switzerland and the EU/EFTA states or the UK, in order to facilitate access to the healthcare systems.
