The foundation's purpose is to acquire ownership of the properties No. 1841 (Melchsee Chapel), No. 1842 (Tannen Chapel) and No. 1843 (Aa Chapel), all registered in the land register of Kerns, to preserve and restore the three chapels on the high Alps of Melchsee, Tannen and Aa, and to operate and manage the chapels as places of worship and contemplation, and to preserve them as cultural assets for the general public. Furthermore, the foundation aims to manage financial resources, specifically from donations, collections, legacies, gifts and donations. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation may acquire, rent, manage and sell properties. The foundation operates within the municipality of Kerns, in accordance with its purpose. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code. The official change of purpose in accordance with Article 86 of the Swiss Civil Code remains reserved. Additionally, it is possible that, without a change of purpose by the authorities or the founder, successive purposes may replace the primary purpose. This requires that the primary purpose is exhausted and the successive purposes pursue a similar or identical intention.
