Stiftung Künstleratelier Arnold Böcklin und Gedenkstätte für Arnold Böcklin und Otto Münch, Zürich

The foundation aims to promote the complete works of Arnold Böcklin and Otto Münch throughout Switzerland and internationally, as well as to preserve the Böcklin/Münch studio at Böcklinstrasse 17, Zurich 7. The studio is to be made available to contemporary artists and accessible to the public. The foundation can also contribute to scientific research and publications on Arnold Böcklin and/or Otto Münch, promote research on these two artists, organize symposia, and lend documents such as original works, to the extent that they are in the foundation's possession, to exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, or mediate their loan through third parties. Furthermore, the foundation can acquire the property on which the Böcklin studio is located at Böcklinstrasse 17, Zurich 7, maintain the Böcklin studio, make it available to contemporary artists, and carry out construction work necessary for the preservation or renovation of the Böcklin studio.
