The foundation pursues the following non-profit purposes: a) Promotion of education, further education, and training of people; b) Support for people with disabilities, dementia, or chronic illnesses; c) Support for disadvantaged people and those in difficult life situations; d) Promotion of access to medical care for people; e) Promotion of sustainable nature and animal conservation; f) Promotion of culture; g) Promotion of research and science that serve the aforementioned concerns in the broadest sense; h) Promotion of non-profit and tax-exempt institutions that are committed to the aforementioned concerns in the broadest sense. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland within the scope of its purpose. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. The foundation does not pursue self-help purposes. The founder, as well as the founder's relatives and close associates, have no claim to support services from the foundation. The details of the benefits are governed by a foundation charter. As long as no charter exists, the foundation board decides on the allocation of foundation benefits within the scope of the foundation's purpose, exercising its due discretion. The foundation board has the right to request changes to the purpose and the foundation deed from the competent supervisory authority by unanimous decision. In doing so, the requirements of Art. 85 (change of organization), Art. 86 (alienation from the original purpose), and Art. 86b of the Swiss Civil Code (minor changes) are taken into account. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose in accordance with Art. 86a para. 1 of the Swiss Civil Code.
