The purpose of the foundation is to create and support educational opportunities for disadvantaged women and children in developing countries, primarily in Africa. To this end, the foundation may acquire and sell real estate and chattels, rent and lease them, and grant and take leases. The foundation operates exclusively for charitable purposes. Any income from the foundation's activities benefits the foundation and thus the fulfillment of its charitable purpose. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose of the foundation within the framework of the legal possibilities, provided that the changed purpose is again charitable or public.
