1.2 The foundation's purpose is to award scholarships to talented, needy foreign students at the University and ETH Zurich. The details of the scholarship award will be determined as soon as possible after the foundation's establishment by a scholarship regulation to be issued by the foundation board. The foundation board also has the authority to amend the scholarship regulation, with the amendment procedure to be specified therein. 1.3 The foundation's assets consist of the initial capital (which may be used immediately for the foundation's purpose), its investment income, any subsequent contributions from the founder (liquidation proceeds), and contributions from third parties (contributions from students and faculty of both universities, special campaigns, collections, etc.). 1.4 The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
