The foundation aims to protect and preserve the natural basis of life for current and future generations. It supports projects in Switzerland and adjacent areas that help maintain plant and animal biodiversity, protect endangered landscapes, cultivate cultural landscapes, and raise awareness among people, especially children and young people, about the importance of an intact environment. Within the scope of its activities, the foundation can establish its own organizations with the same or similar purpose, provide financial contributions or other assistance to existing organizations with similar goals, or collaborate with such organizations in Switzerland and neighboring countries.
