Stiftung zur Förderung sozialwissenschaftlicher Forschung über die Weltgesellschaft

The foundation's purpose is to promote and finance research projects that contribute to the analysis of global society and its changes. In doing so, it considers both various global systems and their interactions, as well as different system levels (see P. Heintz, The Global Society in the Mirror of Events, Verlag Rüegger, Diessenhofen/Zurich 1982). The financing is provided in the form of contributions from the foundation's capital and the returns on investment of this capital to researchers or groups of researchers, as well as to scientific conferences or publications.
