Preventing drowning: Implementing education and awareness programs to reduce drowning incidents, particularly by teaching aquatic survival techniques. Popularizing aquatic sports from a young age: Encouraging children and young people to participate in aquatic sports by organizing workshops, events, and partnerships with schools and community centers. Providing fair access to aquatic education: Offering accessible or free swimming lessons to disadvantaged communities to ensure equal opportunities in learning to swim. Developing aquatic survival skills: Teaching essential techniques such as treading water and other survival skills to enhance aquatic safety. Promoting aquatic safety: Organizing seminars and distributing educational materials on best practices for water safety. Supporting professional development: Providing ongoing training and resources for swimming instructors to maintain high teaching standards. Collaborating with stakeholders: Working in partnership with government agencies, NGOs, and other organizations to promote swimming and aquatic safety initiatives. Engaging in research and advocacy: Participating in research on drowning prevention and advocating for policies that promote aquatic safety and swimming education. Encouraging environmental preservation: Raising awareness about the conservation of aquatic environments to ensure safe and clean spaces for swimming and aquatic sports. Fostering inclusion and diversity: Ensuring that programs are inclusive, taking into account people with disabilities and promoting diversity in aquatic sports. Promoting cultural exchange: Encouraging international collaboration to share best practices in swimming education and drowning prevention. In the long term Carrying out rescue and search missions in case of disaster: Being among the first points of contact in case of disaster or difficulties in all waterways in Switzerland and later at sea.
