Swiss Equestrian is the non-profit umbrella organization of all associations and clubs that deal with horses and equestrian sports in the broadest sense in Switzerland. Swiss Equestrian supports and coordinates the interests of its members nationwide and represents them to the public, authorities, Swiss Olympic, and other national and international organizations. Swiss Equestrian, as the FN (Fédération Nationale), represents the interests of its members in the FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) and the EEF (European Equestrian Federation). Swiss Equestrian coordinates and promotes the training, further education, and advanced training of all equestrian enthusiasts in riding, driving, and handling horses. Youth development holds particular importance. Swiss Equestrian ensures that animal welfare concerns in equestrian sports and horse care are given due attention. Swiss Equestrian promotes and supports competitive equestrian sports of all disciplines in Switzerland. It takes all necessary measures for a uniform and sportingly impeccable organization and conduct of competitive events and tests with horses.
