(i) to aid and support the exclusively philanthropic purposes of the causes of the UNITED NATIONS that are compatible with the purposes and objectives of the CHARTER OF THE UNITED NATIONS, including the programs and activities of the UNITED NATIONS or in which the UNITED NATIONS participates; (ii) to aid, support and/or develop activities to raise public awareness of the purposes and objectives of the UNITED NATIONS and the importance of international cooperation; and (iii) to develop programs and activities for exclusively charitable purposes, whether educational, scientific, literary or otherwise; (iv) to grant subsidies and donations to support related programs and activities of public interest. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation will support in particular the implementation of initiatives identified and/or designed by: The United Nations Foundation, Inc, a non-profit organization registered in 1998 in New York (USA); Better World Fund, Inc, a non-profit organization registered in 1998 in Georgia (USA). The Foundation may also develop any initiative with a similar purpose, in Switzerland and abroad.
