THE NEW HUMANITARIAN

to improve the understanding of natural and/or man-made humanitarian emergencies, particularly those that are underreported or neglected; the Association will improve the well-being of affected populations by advancing public education and research in the humanitarian field and making available to the public independent and unbiased analyses, information and reports on the causes and consequences of crises and the responses to them; in doing so, the Association seeks to support justice and equity, promote human rights, peace and preventive action, improve humanitarian response, and ultimately save the lives of people in danger around the world (cf. statutes for full purpose).
