The purpose of the association is to act as a politically neutral and non-partisan organization that aims to unite Swiss and Ethiopian individuals to support and improve healthcare by enhancing access to high-quality medical services and their provision, through health promotion, facilitating knowledge and skills transfer, and the transfer of state-of-the-art technologies to Ethiopia. The association was founded to pursue the following objectives: Engagement in direct medical consulting through medical/surgical missions and established prevention programs. Facilitating knowledge and skills transfer by identifying and creating opportunities for distance learning, medical training, and sponsoring international medical further education for Ethiopian healthcare providers. Raising awareness about the state and needs of the public healthcare system in Ethiopia to promote support from individuals and organizations in Switzerland and beyond. Promoting and nurturing a council of young adults to leave a lasting legacy.
