Trägerverein Swiss Plant Breeding Center

The Swiss Plant Breeding Center association aims to promote crop breeding in Switzerland. The association assumes the sponsorship of the 'Swiss Plant Breeding Center' (SPBC), which, as a competence center, supports active members in implementing all approved innovative techniques in breeding work and thus contributes to the breeding of varieties adapted to Swiss production and market conditions. It takes into account the requirements of the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) for the promotion and financing of the SPBC. The association does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. Furthermore, the association is actively supportive of the SPBC in terms of active networking with partners and experts.
