The purpose of the foundation is to promote new technological developments and applications, particularly in the areas of open and decentralized software architectures. This includes enabling, promoting and maintaining decentralized and open technological structures. The focus is on promoting, developing and operating the UOP and the associated technology, as well as promoting and supporting applications made available or to be made available on the UOP. The purpose of the foundation is also to support groups, public institutions and private individuals who work for the well-being and interests of artists and music creators through technology and/or financial support; complete purpose description according to the foundation deed.
