Verband Schwyzer Gemeinden und Bezirke (vszgb)

The Association of Schwyz Municipalities and Districts (VSZGB) is an interest group representing the municipalities and districts of Schwyz. Its core activities include: representation of municipal and district concerns to the canton and the public; coordination of material and technical issues for municipalities and districts; promotion of education and training (including apprenticeships) for municipalities and districts; provision of services for municipalities and districts; and organization and promotion of the exchange of experiences and communication between municipalities and districts, as well as between municipalities, districts, and the canton. The VSZGB thus serves as a kind of umbrella organization for the municipalities and districts of Schwyz, representing their interests and promoting their cooperation.
