Verein appertus zur Förderung der Chancengleichheit im Medizinstudium (VFCM)

The purpose of the association is to promote equal opportunities for prospective and enrolled students of medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine in Switzerland before or during their studies. To this end, the association acquires a license from medignition AG, Zurich, for the distribution of the appertus app for preparation for the medical school entrance exam (EMS) (app appertus); makes the appertus app available free of charge to future medical students for their preparation for the EMS; provides medical students with free tutoring; and develops and implements further measures to promote equal opportunities before and/or during medical studies. The association may, as a secondary purpose, provide free advice to future and enrolled medical students on their study and career planning. The association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
