The purpose of the association is to bear witness to the common faith in the community of believers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, to pass on this faith, to practice and cultivate it in various forms, so that believers regularly hear and confess the Gospel, religious services are offered and perceived, and social and cultural relationships are strengthened among believers. The association is independent in political, ethnic and linguistic terms. Its purpose is to enable a living, spiritual community in which all members can exercise their faith in a fundamentally equal manner. The association is politically neutral, does not pursue economic goals and is non-profit.
