The foundation aims to provide supplementary occupational pension provision for the employees of the central office of the association in Zurich and their dependents. These are insured with the pension fund of the City of Zurich, a registered pension institution for the implementation of the BVG, in accordance with the existing affiliation agreement. Within the framework of the available resources, the foundation strives to expand the contractually agreed insurance coverage in the sense that the employees of the association and their dependents are equally insured against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability as the employees of the City of Zurich. Furthermore, the foundation supports its beneficiaries in cases of need such as illness, accident disability or unemployment. However, the insured employees and their dependents do not have individual claims to benefits from the foundation. The foundation's resources are used in particular for a) one-time contributions to increase old-age benefits; b) payment of cost-of-living allowances to pension recipients; c) contributions to reduce pension cuts in the event of early retirement; d) financing of bridging pensions until the age of AHV.
