The foundation aims to provide occupational benefits for the employees of the employer company (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the companies closely economically or financially linked to it within the framework of the BVG and its implementing ordinances; it is intended to protect the employees as well as their relatives and dependents against the economic consequences of retirement, death, and disability. The foundation may extend the benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. In agreement with the Company, the foundation council may decide that companies that are in close financial or economic connection with the Company may join the foundation. The accession of a company that is closely connected to the Company is effected by means of an accession agreement.
