The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable housing as a basis for a well-functioning village life through joint self-help. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population, particularly and primarily to families with school-age children, secondly to employees of local businesses, and thirdly to other sections of the population, such as singles, people with special needs or the elderly. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. The cooperative can offer rooms for commercial services in its buildings or rent out non-permanently rented apartments for tourist purposes.
