The cooperative aims to create and manage affordable housing. The apartments are to be permanently withdrawn from any speculation. They are non-transferable and are rented out by the cooperative. The cooperative seeks to achieve its purpose by: a) continuous, sustainable, cost- and quality-conscious maintenance to ensure the preservation of the value of the buildings. b) Construction of replacement new buildings when the existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. c) Management and rental of the apartments on a cost-rent basis. d) Promotion of cooperative activities in the settlement.
