Support medical, scientific, social, and humanitarian activities aimed at making the highest standards of anesthesia and care accessible to all people worldwide, including perioperative medicine, pain medicine, trauma management, resuscitation, as well as intensive care and palliative care; Promote and facilitate cooperation and collaboration among Members to create, develop, and improve the education and training of anesthesia professionals everywhere, by coordinating their support for various projects, representing their common interests, exchanging information, and providing technical expertise to its Members or to other parties; Support its Members in achieving their common interests while recognizing their autonomy in accordance with their respective constitutions; Support the diversification of its Members' activities to the extent that it promotes the highest standards of anesthesia care; Promote innovation and research in all aspects of anesthesia care, in collaboration with external stakeholders, both from the private and public sectors; Promote high-quality anesthesia and surgical care as an essential element of global health and combat risky surgical practices; Collaborate with and provide guidance to national, regional, and international organizations, global decision-makers, including the World Health Organization (WHO), its agencies, and other multilateral institutions, to oversee global and regional issues, develop international and regional policies, and improve access to safe and uniform anesthesia care; More specifically, the Association, its Members, and Observers will support the development of safer anesthesia care worldwide by organizing scientific meetings and offering educational opportunities to all those involved in providing such care, including the organization of World and Regional Congresses. Use all other lawful means likely to contribute to the achievement of the Association's objectives.
