According to the foundation's purpose, the foundation exists for the benefit and well-being of the Zaeslin family, so that none of its members may ever fall into such poverty or need that they would have to resort to begging or become a burden to their authorities, a poorhouse, or their fellow human beings for their temporal care, nourishment, or support. The foundation's assets, along with the resulting income and yields, serve to comfort, help, and support those members of the Zaeslin family who, due to divine providence, have fallen into need, distress, and poverty, and thus into such dire circumstances in the future that they would no longer be able to support themselves and their dependents without assistance.
