The core activity of the "Stiftung Patientensicherheit Schweiz" foundation is to promote and improve patient safety in Switzerland through: analysis and development of knowledge and strategies to improve patient safety; dissemination of information and recommendations to healthcare facilities and professionals; networking of healthcare facilities and professionals to exchange experiences and best practices; development and provision of tools and services, such as CIRRNET, Quick-Alerts and e-learning modules, to support patient safety; and implementation of projects and activities to promote patient safety, such as the Action Week and national programs.
