fondation Erna Hamburger provides financial support to women holding a Master’s degree who pursue postgraduate studies. Grants are awarded as one‑time donations (for example up to CHF 15,000 for theses nearing completion) for postgraduate work in the canton of Vaud, and applications are decided by a foundation board with representatives from EPFL, UNIL and affiliated associations.

The goal is to increase the chances of survival for people with cardiac arrest by providing assistance within five minutes of the emergency call.

The foundation supports the training of medical professionals, awards scholarships and organizes humanitarian missions in various countries. It finances itself through donations, the sale of scientific books and the reimbursement of patents.

Fondation Francine Delacrétaz

The core activity of the Fondation Francine Delacrétaz is to support individuals affected by breast cancer in the French-speaking Switzerland (Suisse Romande).
