It developed and produced machines and plants for industry and was also active in energy production. The Winterthur site was an important location for Sulzer's production and development. On the other hand, the Abendrot Foundation has its core activity in the field of real estate development and management. It took over the Winterthur site and developed a utilization concept aimed at making the area a vibrant and diverse place with small businesses, leisure, art, and culture. The ArealVerein Lagerplatz has its core activity in the field of representing and promoting the interests of the tenants and users of the site. It represents the interests of the tenants vis-à-vis the Abendrot Foundation and promotes communication and cooperation between the users of the site.
