The purpose of the foundation is to conduct research and promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and insights in the field of Parkinson's disease and related areas, in particular through the organization and implementation of regularly recurring as well as occasionally organized symposia, the promotion of continuing education for the medical profession, and the support of individual projects such as dissertations and other research work. The foundation may publish the research and development results obtained in the pursuit of its purpose in professional circles using suitable means and also promote and financially support publications. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose, but is entitled to use research results commercially within the framework of pursuing the foundation's purpose. The foundation may employ the personnel it needs to achieve the foundation's purpose.
