KUB Foundation

The purpose of the Foundation is: To promote the development of protocol technologies in networks that rely on blockchain technology and to promote equal access to blockchain technologies for all; primarily, but not exclusively, focusing on the promotion and advancement of the KUB ecosystem, the KUB blockchain, and related technologies; The promotion and advancement of technologies and applications based on the KUB blockchain; The support and financing of relevant research and development activities, as well as projects, companies, foundations, organizations, and individuals; The promotion and raising of public awareness about the KUB blockchain and other blockchain technologies, particularly through the organization and support of workshops, hackathons, events, and similar activities; The initiation, financing, and promotion of the integration of KUB blockchain applications into third-party networks (e.g., social networks), as well as collaboration with third parties for this purpose; The creation and provision of training materials, such as technical documentation, and generally the implementation of all measures that are necessary, appropriate, ancillary, or desirable to achieve or promote the aforementioned goals; and The granting of funding and the conduct of competitions to motivate individuals, companies, foundations, and organizations to participate in the development of the KUB ecosystem. The Foundation may delegate the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, found new organizations, and/or support existing organizations. It may pursue its purposes through its own staff or by outsourcing certain tasks to external partners. The Foundation may hold shares in other companies and establish subsidiaries, foundations, or sub-foundations both in Switzerland and abroad. The Foundation does not pursue profit-oriented purposes and generally does not aim to make a profit. However, it may generate profits to the extent necessary for the implementation of its projects and the promotion of innovation.
