The foundation aims to carry out, promote and support cultural events (in particular those organized by public-law corporations) for the residents of the region. To this end, the foundation can organize such events itself or participate in the costs of such events. The foundation board can decide at its discretion on the use of funds from interest income and foundation assets within the framework of the foundation's purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
