The company's purpose is the research, development, production, and distribution of medical, pharmaceutical, and chemical products, particularly the development, production, and distribution of vaccines for humans and animals, research in the field of protein neutralization technologies, antigen-based hypoallergenic technologies, immunomodulatory products, as well as other comparable or substitute medical products for human and veterinary medicine. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and/or abroad and invest in other companies in Switzerland and/or abroad, acquire, hold, encumber, and dispose of real estate or intellectual property rights in Switzerland and/or abroad, and conduct all commercial, financial, or other transactions that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. Furthermore, the company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, as well as to third parties, either for a fee or free of charge, and provide security for the liabilities of such persons or group companies in any form, including guarantees, pledges, and fiduciary transfers of the company's assets.
